However if you do decide to sign up on the same day of your preview then you won't be charged the $35, instead you will have to pay the term fee (plus refundable deposit and registration fee) and your preview will be counted as your first session of the term.

What are the fees?
The course fees can be found in the Fees page. In addition to course fees, for first time registration, there is a one time family registration fee of S$40 as well as a refundable deposit of S$100. This deposit is refundable upon a written notice. A written notice must be given 4 weeks before the end of the term in the event of withdrawal for the subsequent term.

Are the storybooks, puppets and musical instruments used in Rhythm In Me for sale?
Yes, Rhythm In Me does resell most of the storybooks, puppets and musical instruments on display.

Do I need to sit in with the child during the class?
If the child is 3 years and below, the parents/guardians are required to be present in the class. Children above 3 who are "ready" are encouraged to attend the class on their own.

Will my child learn musical notes?
Children at a young age should first and foremost be exposed to suitable music to develop a natural rhythm. Although variable in terms of age and stage, abstract and symbolic thinking develops from approximately six years and more developed in ten to twelve year olds; where we expect more complex construction of knowledge. Therefore, pre-literacy skills, varying forms of graphic notation and other symbolisation are the focus of notation in the six to eight year old groups, providing the foundation for traditional notation in the eight to twelve year old groups. Fundamentally, notation reading is an extension to known musical materials and that sound should always precede symbol.

How is Rhythm In Me different from other music schools?
Rhythm In Me was started and is run by people who are genuinely passionate about music and children. The people at Rhythm In Me believe that before music can be taught to a child, the child must first have a love for music. To achieve this, Rhythm In Me sees every child as an individual and approaches him or her accordingly. The classes in Rhythm In Me are interactive, stimulating and lively and in no way is it threatening. This environment gives security to a child to explore and learn and in the process, develop their life-long interest in music.

“Rhythm In Me provides the best environment that stimulates my sons’ interest in music. They love dancing, singing and playing with the drums and other musical instruments. Grace and her team are the best!”
